Unicity’s roots go deeper than almost any network marketing company in the world, back to 1903 when Louis Liggett opened the first Rexall Drug Store. Over the next 50 years, Rexall developed into a chain of more than 25,000 drug stores and has been a recognized brand in the United States since then. In 1990, Rexall launched the Bios Life™ Franchise model to market its unique, science-based nutritional products. Unicity was formed in 2001 by the merger of two successful network marketing companies: Rexall Showcase International and Enrich International. Both companies were recognized leaders in the preventive healthcare, anti-aging, and wellness markets.
Over the years, Unicity International has expanded beyond the U.S. and Canadian borders, and is now doing business in Venezuela, Colombia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Mexico, The Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Brunei, and the United Kingdom.
In 2002, the Unicity business also started in Europe when Germany was opened as the first European market.
Today, Unicity has offices in 21 countries all over the world and sells over 130 nutritional and personal care products to millions of customers in more than 30 countries.
